Covid-19

During this time we wish to further keep our working area safe for all staff and customers. Steps we are currently implementing: 

• Having a queueing system for entry to the shop at busy times.
• Sanitising trolleys at entry
• Providing adequate hand sanitising points for customers
• Encouraging hand sanitising throughout the store
• Notices on floor and walls throughout shop highlighting the need for Social Distancing
• Installing Prespex Screens at tills for protection
• Encouraging Contactless Payments 
• Providing a delivery or collection facility for elderly and vulnerable
• Providing masks and gloves for staff 
• Gloves provided at petrol pumps
• Contactless Card Payments at Pumps
• Encouraging working from home if possible
• Allowing staff to work on night shift if possible
• Providing sanitiser for washing down units and work places
• Having a system at tills to ensure social distancing of staff and customers
• Social distancing rules in canteen
• Encouraging customers to not bring children into shop
• Encouraging customers to shop for the week not the next meal
• Encouraging customers to have one trolley one customer
• Upgraded our cold deli and butchery serve over to prepacked counters
• Installed self service tills to minimise contact
